2-2. CONTROLS AND INDICATORS.
Key Component Description
1 Discharge Pressure Indicates the pressure of air leaving the compressor. Should be 80-120 psi (552-827
kPa).
2 Tach/Hourmeter The tachometer portion indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
The hourmeter portion of this gage indicates and records the total number of hours
of actual operation.
3 Engine Oil Pressure Indicates engine oil pressure. Normal engine oil pressure is 60-80 psi (414-552
kPa).
4 Fuel Pressure Indicates engine fuel pressure. Normal fuel pressure is 4-6 psi (28-41 kPa).
5 Fuel Level Indicates how much fuel is in the fuel tank.
6 Ammeter Indicates if the alternator function is normal. Needle should indicate on the positive
(+) side of "0" while the compressor unit is running.
7 Compressor Oil Temp indicates compressor oil temperature. Should indicate 150°-230°F (66°-110°C).
